Great resource for newer teachers setting up their first classrooms or for more experienced teachers trying to shift their classroom culture. Highly recommend it’s use. It’s easy to read and give explicit examples of language teachers can use to be positive both with students and families.
You can’t go wrong with Responsive Classroom, and this book is no different. Love the real world situations. You can right to the chapter you need and get ready to use strategies that deal with this issue effectively while reapecting and honoring the dignity of children.
This book is an easy reader with ideas that can be used right away. It can be kept on your desk for referencing. I was happy to read this because it made sense and gave real solutions to problems that occur in the classroom.
